About EJ Session Photography

My journey into photography began as a creative solution to a simple problem. After purchasing my first home, I wanted meaningful art for my walls but needed an affordable way to create it. Armed with an old Minolta film camera passed down from my father, I began experimenting with photography. Those first images were far from perfect, but they sparked a passion that quickly became a lifelong pursuit.

Determined to improve, I immersed myself in learning, studying composition, light, and technique through research and countless hours of hands-on practice. Over time, what began as a hobby evolved into a professional craft grounded in patience, persistence, and purpose.

Today, I specialize in portrait photography, capturing authentic expressions and timeless moments that tell each subject’s unique story. I also explore travel and street photography, inspired by the beauty of everyday life and the stories that unfold within it.

Ironically, I still haven’t hung one of my own photos on my walls, perhaps because my creative journey is still being written, one frame at a time.
